Kenyan university campuses are not sex hubs.

It is truly different here, contrary to what we expected.

As the sun sets glaring its elegant beauty on the beautiful Kenyan highlands before me, friends allow me to cherish this tranquility by spitting out the pain that has encroached in my heart by a series of filthy documents and posts I have been reading through during this week and earlier before in the media and social platforms.
The impression on Kenyan campus life has turned out to be defined as places where people can use to find all ladies for any form of sexual adventure. Arguments ensure day and night to define the campus with girls best sexual attractions, Boys with best lines and so on and so for forth. However, it is sad that these same platforms never put up, or rarely if any, any arguments to sell the academic worth of our beautiful campuses or the intellects that our universities harbour. It is on a rare occasion to find topics such as a new drug being researched, or even a reform idea being incubated by our girls or boys in campus so and so.
Students are rarely talked of in terms of their plights that make their campus life even harder but rather all compromises are just Love, Romance and sex. Have you ever seen any university, satellite campus, college or rather any tertiary institution whose mission, vision included any objective of producing best sexual partners, marital couples or even best lines’ dude?
In which society have you ever seen somebody go to pay school fees in order to get a wife or a husband?
Dear patriots, it’s high time you change your perspective of who a campus boy or a campus girl is.
This is somebody who’s endeavouring to make a change that count in the near future in the particular society where you are side-lining him or her, looking down on him or her and talking all type of shit against him or her, because of your unjustified and biased understanding.
If I were to formulate a law, actually I would propose you be sued for mental sexual harassment of campus students based on what you write and talk about them. Coming to the media to blog seeking intervention in a campus on pretext that they don’t have girls equivalent to boys on a mere reason that the boys graduate not knowing how to seduce a girl I don’t think it is something we deserve in this century.
Campus life is killing many students mentally because of the inability of meeting their financial demands based on the diverse backgrounds they hail from yet, a whole of you, patriotic citizen, cannot talk of this but come out only to humiliate our young boys and girls striving to make their future any better.
It will be more productive and more honourable of you to join this young population striving to impact a change that matter in the near future. Help them meet their daily challenges and concentrate best of their time on the books rather than creating for them an environment that you later come to mock.

To hell, with the antiquated, immoral, depraved, indecent, nefarious, shameless, unethical,  debauched, dissipated, graceless, iniquitous, licentious, saturnalian, wicked  disrespectful and any other suitable adjectival term you continue using to describe campus students.

Let’s change friends. This young people need us and we need them for the Benefit, honour and development of this Nation.
Let a listening ear, hear me I beg!
